Stephanie is a Certified Financial Planner, Investment Advisor and Insurance Broker. She is dedicated to developing long term client relationships and uses her passion for financial planning to assist individuals, families, and business owners in creating and achieving their life goals. Stephanie utilizes her Elder Planning Counselor designation when working with seniors to help safeguard their wealth and maximize their income and available tax credits. Stephanie is also a Chartered Professional Accountant and a Certified General Accountant, and has held several accounting and finance positions from Toronto to New York City before establishing herself at Monteith Financial Group in 2006. Stephanie brings together all of her credentials and experiences to create financial solutions so clients can have peace of mind in the financial decisions they make as they move through life.
Accomplished and actively involved in the life, health and group insurance industry for 30 years, Kathy works with clients to find satisfying and creative answers to both their simple and complex insurance needs. Holding a position in a major insurance corporation for 10 years, she trained and assisted agents in implementation of group insurance and other products. A member of Advocis, the premiere Canadian association of insurance and financial advisors, she has completed the Chartered Life Underwriter and Chartered Health Specialist designations.
Brenda joined the Monteith Financial Group team in 2001 and brought with her many years of experience in the financial planning and insurance industry. She is a graduate of the Mohawk College Office Management program and has obtained her Securities designation. As office manager, Brenda is committed to proficiency and accuracy, responsible for the verification of all trades and transactions, troubleshooting when necessary. Brenda ensures that everything we do is in our clients’ best interest and treats everyone like family.
Hellen has more than 12 years of industry experience, a B. A. in Economics from York University and a diploma in Business Management from Humber College. We welcomed Hellen to our team in 2014. She handles office technology, ensuring our clients have online access to account information as well as overseeing the delivery of our electronic newsletters and communications. Hellen also works closely with the advisors, assisting with client contact needs, preparation of appointments and transaction processing.
